Oookaaaay I dunno if anyone else here has heard of Lady Ga Ga. Basically she's a Pop/Dance artist. In other words...she plays Ga Ga music. All computer generated, brainless stuff. Looks like a complete Ga Ga girl too. Here's one of her songs www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1R92tEYePEAaaand get this, she named herself after Radio Ga Ga. I wonder if she see's the irony behind this or has seen the show. Named herself after a Queen song, but has also assosiated herself with Ga Ga Girls, Globalsoft etc. The take over has begun D: AND to add more to it, there's a shop in Camden (London) and Brighton that sells Ga Ga clothes. Examples here www.cyberdog.net/cybershop/pages/items.php?cat=womensCourse most people think it's rave clothing...but it looks suspiciously like Ga Ga Kids could shop there. The age of Ga Ga is starting...RUN! LOL. Or just play rock n roll really loud.

Yeah, I've heard of Lady Ga Ga. Every time I hear her music on the radio, I get nauseous. Bleh. Well, it's time to whip out the fishnets, jeans and studded leather. We must start the rebellion as early as possible! LOL.

Erm, I know I've not been on a while - college work is keeping me busy - so I don't know if I can talk but, erm, you do know Cyberdog is a cyber-punk shop? Just ... y'know ... little bit of information. And, also, Lady GaGa is heavily influenced by glam rock, the music of the 80's. From Madonna, to Bowie, to oh, even Queen. (I refer you to the Hot Space album if you wish for proof) And considering C.R.A.P is shown to be music created entirely by computers with no actual human, emotional, irrational input into it ... yeah ... don't think Lady GaGa fits under that term

I wondered if anyone had caught on... though personally I love Lady GaGa.
She took the name from Radio GaGa because someone told her she had a similar voice to Freddie Mercury (I don't actually know how true that is, but I've heard her singing without the usual music and she has a fabulous voice). She's also heavily influenced by the 80's, and bands/singers from that time - Queen, David Bowie, Madonna etc.
Also, dance/techno music was a big element in alot of great bands' music, including Queen (Freddie's Mr Bad Guy album especially).
As for Cyberdog, I've been in that shop many times, and not once has it seemed like "GaGa" style clothing - what I remember seeing was either black leather or glow in the dark neon. It's Cyberpunk - bright colours with an edge.

I know, I'm being a bit daft here Not serious, yo. Cyber dog is alright really, been in a few times. Although the outfits made me wonder if Ben Elton had been there shopping LOL. I'd say it's more Cyber than Punk. And the name of Lady Ga Ga seemed like a funny coincidence that's all. Never seen black leather in there though. And the models used in the window look like yuppies which gave me a giggle. Lady GG's music ain't really my cup o tea though, listened to a few of her tracks and she seems a bit dippy in interviews but probably harmless.

Ahahaha this was funny, but I will agree with you on some parts, I don't like lady gaga, the irony in her name is hilarious and cyberdog is more cyber than punk. I mean I could really see gaga girls wearing those more than bohemians yeah?
oh yeah and like Meat says, whack out the fishnets, jeans and studded leather ahahaha I want a rebellion!!!

I met Lady GaGa on the night I went to We Will Rock You in Manchester, England (she was the pre-act for Take That who were playing at the Manchester M.E.N. arena that weekend) she's quite a nice person... although rather dippy and spaced out!!! I don't know if she was going to see wwry... I guess not, as she would have been performing at the same time. But still, I feel chuffed that I met her There's this shop in Manchester... A BIIIIIG 4 floor shop, which sells everything from GaGa-style clothing, to punk rock outfits, goth and emo stuff and a hell of a lot of band merchandise (including Queen, Bowie, Zeppelin, My Chemical Romance, AC/DC and loads others)!!! I once spent 5 hours and £180 in Affleks Palace (what the shop is called)!!!

Going to see her at the O2 (London) in February ;D Another random little thing for cyberdog clothes - I've made quite a few of my bohemians with those clothes in mind. See-through net tops with your boobs on show doesn't really seem that GaGa to me
