"Yep. I'm ready." Ramona nodded. Hopefully if they got it right, the doors would burst open, the van would stop and they could jump clear and make a run for it. "On the count of three, we'll swing it as hard as we can until the doors open. Ok?" She took a deep breath. "One...Two...THREE!" Ramona and Mustapha swung the bench with all their strength and there was an almighty crash as it connected with the doors.

The doors dented slightly. The two looked at each other and then at the door. Ramona sighed.
"Wait, look!" Mustapha exclaimed. She pointed at the doors and the dent was slightly more towards the right side, providing a small gap. She raised her converse and kicked heavily. The gap got big enough for them to squeeze through, but wouldn'tensure a completely accurate landing.
"Wanna risk it?" Mustapha said, breathless and panicked.

Ramona looked out the back of the van through the gap, the van wasn't going too fast. If they were careful about the landing they should be ok. "Yeah. I don't want to end up wherever they're taking us." she said and she shoved at the door, forcing it to open another couple of inches "We're not going too fast. Just watch how you land. Do you want to go first or shall I?"

Mustapha bit her lip.
"You please..." She muttered. She felt a little cowardly.

Ramona put a hand on Mustapha's shoulder reassuringly "We'll be alright Phapha don't you worry." She smiled. "Ok, once I'm out you follow straight away and I'll try and catch you. I know it's scary but it's the best hope we've got right now."
Ramona walked towards the door and looked out. They were passing through another wasteland. If Ramona remembered right, they should still be in the vecinity of an opening to the underground system. If they could get there then it would only be a day or so's walk through the tunnels to the Heartbreak. She squeezed her way through the gap, bracing herself. She turned back and smiled at Mustapha "Here goes nothing. See you in a sec."
Watching the tarmac go past, Ramona suddenly wasn't feeling as brave as she had been, but if they ended up infront of the Killer Queen then she would probably never see Alice again, and there was no way she could leave her on her own.
She took a deep breath, crouched and made a silent prayer to the God's of Rock before leaping out the door.

(just a note that i'll be away for three days so don't think I've forgotten you!)
Mustapha saw Ramona seemingly vanished through the hole and then heard a crunch on the gravel, she looked out and saw Ramona had safely landed on the ground.
Mustapha swallowed hard and gripped the sides of the gap hard as she balanced her wobbly legs on the edge of the bottom of the gap. She looked out as Ramona her hair flicking in her eyes, and preventing her from seeing.
All she could do was hope that Ramona was there like she said she would be and jump her best.
She bent down, croushing like Ramona had and closed her eyes, swallowing hard before pouncing into the air like a bohemian kitten.

Ramona landed with a roll and quickly bounced up right before jogging after the van. She saw Mustapha balancing on the edge and then taking a leap into the air and away from their mobile prison. As Mustapha seemingly flew through the air, Ramona flung herself forward and there was an "Oof!" as the girl collided with her chest and they both fell to the ground. Ramona lay on her back breathing heavily, scarecly believing that they had made it.
"You alright Phapha?"

A flash of colour, followed by darkneess that melted into Ramona's face flew past Mustapha's eyes. Her mind seemed to be dancing around, causing her head to sway and her eyes to glaze slightly from the fainty feeling. She kept blinking trying to shake the feeling from her whoozy body. Her chest rose and fell quickly and heavily, she surmised she was winded.
She recalled that Ramona had asked her a question and judging by the look of confusion or worry on her face she asked it a while ago.
"Uh...yes?" She answered not remembering what the hell she was asking.
"Wh-wh-what...um...where are we?" She would have added the girl's name at the end of the sentence to be polite, but it slipped from her mind.

Ramona didn't believe for a moment that Mustapha was as ok as she claimed, but she said nothing and decided to keep a close eye on her. "We're on the outskirts of the city. But there should be an underground station around here somewhere. I think we should get moving though before they realise we've gone." Ramona stood up and offered Mustapha her hand. "Once we get to a safer place we can rest for a while. C'mon. Sooner we get going, sooner we can get home." She smiled and waggled her fingers on her offered hand. "You good to go?"

"Um...I should think so..."
she placed a limp hand in Ramona's and stood up, wobbling slightly. Her knees were so weak and rubbery, probably from fear, nerves and the blow dealt from the crash landing, she didn't trust them a bit, so she held on to Ramona's hand, tightening her grip when things got harder and her legs tried to give way.
"The sooner we get going, the sooner we can get home..." she repeated over and over feeling her legs get stronger, like a mantra, before remembering that Ramona was there and she was probably pissing her off.
"Sorry..." She laughed nervously.

Ramona kept a firm grip on Mustapha's hand and smiled slightly "It's ok Phapha, whatever keeps you going."
They walked for a while, slow and steady with Ramona keeping an eagle eye out for any yuppies. There was no sign of them and the pair eventually reached a jumble of old buildings. Ramona pleaded again to the Gods of Rock that there was an underground entrance round here. The old city had been full of them years ago. Suddenly she caught a glimpse of something down a side street, and it gave her hope. It was the familiar red circle with a blue line through it, and she could just make out the name- Richmond.
"Look Phapha! Nearly there." She grinned at Mustapha. They'd soon be able to sit down, and once inside they could see if there was a map to show where they were. Only some stations still had them. She hoped this was one of them.

(please excuse my lack of knowlege for london train systems! lmao, I'm, just going to take a shot at it either way!)
"It's ok Phapha, whatever keeps you going."
Mustapha smiled and continued to keep the rhythm going in her head. She saw the old buildings appear in what seemed like thin air. She gawked at the old structures.
"I really hope we find out where we are...I don't think I've ever been away from the heartbreak area...besides global soft and the seven seas of course..." She muttered, rambling a bit. She trusted Ramona either way and kept trudging on.
"Look Phapha! Nearly there."
Mustapha smiled, she didn't know where richmond was but if Ramona said so, it worked fine for her. "Yay!" She cried, it echoing off the surrounding buildings. "Oops..." she muttered again. She felt a bit stupid being scared of loud noises and yet she was a bass player, pairing up with a crazy guitar player and an even nuttier singer to perform ear busting rock songs.
They walked down the steps, Mustapha feeling the grit and dust crunch ever so slightly under her ratty converses. "Just tell me when we can rest..." Mustapha mumbled absent mindedly, her eyes dropping a little.

(Here, this might help. I've marked on where Ramona & Phapha are and where the Heartbreak is i43.photobucket.com/albums/e365/watsername21/mapedit.png ) Ramona led them into the walkways and round a couple of corners before she spotted a bench on a platform and allowed them to collapse on it. "We should be safe here." she said, looking around. It was obvious that no one had been down here for years, there was rubbish everywhere. Old food cartons and battered shopping bags with a faded Ga Ga logo littered the walk way they were in. Years ago people would have passed through here for hours every day just to reach the other side of the city. But not now. Now the tunnels were abandoned in favour of the more modern ways of transport and the stations were left for the Bohemians to inhabit. Luckily, this ment that no Ga Ga's or Secret Police would be likely to come any where near this place. Ramona turned to Mustapha who was sat next to her. "You can stay here and rest if you want, I'm going to go back to the entrance and barricade it to make sure we can't be followed." She smiled "We'll be home soon. But we can rest up for a while first. Dunno about you, but I'm knackered!"

(aw thanks!!! That certainly helps an awful lot!)
Mustapha flopped onto the bench, much less graceful than she always was. Her head flopped back and she thank the Rock Gods for this bench.
"we should be safe here"
"Thank goodness..." Mustapha muttered out, closing her eyes and breathing in slowly.
"You can stay here and rest if you want, I'm going to go back to the entrance and barricade it to make sure we can't be followed."
"Do you want some help?" Mustapha offered, but knowing she wasn't going to be much help, she'd probably lose the feeling in her legs if she got up too soon.
"We'll be home soon. But we can rest up for a while first. Dunno about you, but I'm knackered!"
"Me too, I'm...knackered..." Mustapha giggled, she had never used that word before and the strange fun of it made her crack up. She suddenly thought about the heartbreak, their home. She just 'couldn't wait' for the speech she was going to get from a probably pissed Scaramouche, she thought sarcastically. She couldn't wait however to retreat to her room and snuggle up with her pillow. She was also looking forward to the greeting Ramona would get from a certain little bohemian sister, she laughed at the though of Alice dashing madly through the tables to get to Ramona. She closed her eyes again and let her head drop forward, getting loose and rag-doll like.

"You look like you need to rest" Ramona said, watching Mustapha as she looked close to falling asleep. "I'll deal with the entrance, don't worry." she smiled, stood up and headed back the way they came, paying more attention to the walls. Any sign of a map would be useful. Ramona reached the entrance and saw where they had squeezed through the gap in the metal railings. She pulled the gate so the gap vanished and used the rusty chain and padlock to secure them as best as she could. She then spent the next ten minutes pushing rubbish around as best she could, piling it up against the door and covering any signs that there had been people walking through. Once she was satisfied she made her way back down the still escalators and into a different tunnel to the one she had left Mustapha in. She had to find a map if they had any chance of getting home.
Finally she found one on the wall of a platform and was relieved to see that although it was torn around the edges and had a scratch down the middle, it was still fairly ledgable. From what she could tell from the colours, they were at the end of the Discrict line. Their best bet was to head to Victoria and then walk up towards Oxford Circus. That would bring them to the outskirts of the Heartbreak and then it would be a quick walk to Tottenham Court Road, the heart of the Hotel.
Memorising the directions as best she could, Ramona turned and headed back to where she'd left Mustapha. It would take them the best part of a day to get home, but there was no way she'd go anywhere without at least sitting down for a while. As eager as she was to see Alice- who was no doubt worried sick- she didn't want to make either herself or Mustapha over tired.
